Definitely one of the nicer hotels we’ve ever stayed in, the Park Hyatt Shanghai is located on floors 80 through 93 of the Shanghai World Financial Center. The SWFC is over 1,600 feet tall and is the world’s 9th tallest building. If you ever see a picture of the Shanghai skyline, it’s the building with the keyhole near the top. In this night picture it’s the blueish tinted building on the left.
the building pictured in the middle is the Shanghai Tower and it soars 2,073 feet and is (currently) the second tallest building on earth.
Thanks to my status at Hyatt I was able to book us into a 1,400 square foot suite on the 83rd floor of the SWFC. It was extraordinarily comfortable and difficult to leave in the morning. Here is the view we had.
It was incredibly clear the entire time we were in Shanghai which is very unusual as it’s prone to fog and low clouds owing to its’ location on the Yangtze River delta.
The room was incredibly spacious. We had a large living room with a full sofa and dining/conference table.
The bedroom had all kinds of space.
Same room from a different perspective.
The main bathroom was large with an infinity tub that Jeff said he could float in!
We really loved this hotel and hated to leave it.
