Tonight we had dinner at Yardbird.
The restaurant is quite small and does not take reservations but is getting raves from a number of notables magazines. It’s all parts of the chicken prepared about 100 different ways. Here’s a brief video from inside the restaurant tonight:
We had the mushroom salad mixed with greens in a soy sauce dressing, sweet corn tempura, skewers of grilled chicken oysters (so good), skewers of chicken made from neck meat (really tender), chicken meatballs that you dipped in a egg yolk-soy sauce sauce, and then finally “KFC”, or Korean Fried Cauliflower. It was cauliflower that had been battered and fried like chicken and then lacquered in that yummy finger-lickin’ Korean barbecue sauce. Honestly would never know it was cauliflower, it tasted just like chicken.

It was terrific, can totally recommend it if you come here and need a place for dinner.
