Our rail journey from Barcelona to Cannes took us through Marseilles where we had a quick pit stop – just enough time to make it to the Orange store in the Old Port for a SIM card and then back to the rail station for our connection.
It was a short and picturesque walk down the hill to the Old Port.
The Old Port area was jammed with last minute Christmas shoppers, and the Orange store was no exception. Unfortunately the wait was too long for help so we left empty handed.
However we got a nice little look at Marseilles. I think it deserves another visit.
