As we leave Bangkok for our next stop in Siem Reap, Cambodia to see Angkor Wat we are flying little Bangkok Airways. They bill themselves as “Asia’s Boutique Airline” and there is a lot of chatter about them so we were interested in flying them.
They are all Coach so no gaudy First Class photos here. What was remarkable was that on a 42 minute segment between Bangkok and Siem Reap they served a full meal and follow-on beverage service for a full A320 aircraft that seats 150 or so people.
Those flight attendants were running!
Here’s what you got, although we didn’t partake.
By the way, we had to check a bag for the first time since probably the ’80s as they wouldn’t let us carry on our rollaboards. But before we knew it we were in Cambodia and our bags were with us!
