After the massage in the Lounge it was time to board. We, of course, went immediately to the gate because we didn’t want to miss a minute of the onboard experience. It may have been the earliest I’ve ever boarded an aircraft — 45 minutes before departure.

Our gorgeous A380 was parked at the gate and waiting for us and this aircraft is a passenger’s dream. It glides through the air smoother than being in a BMW and the comfort level (especially in First) is just as high.

They called for boarding and we entered the First and Business Class jetbridge that is destined for the upper deck. Economy boards through a separate jetbridge that is destined for the lower deck, which is all Economy.

You know it’s going to be remarkable from the moment you step aboard and see a galley with hardwood floors.

And then we made our favorite turn (left, of course!) as we boarded and walked to our individual Apartments. Jeff is in Apartment 3K and I’m in Apartment 4K.
