This is Jeff’s first visit to Los Angeles so we had a few item to check off the list. Starting with the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Grauman’s (nee Mann’s, now “TCL”) Chinese Theatre.
The Capitol Records building.
The “Hollywood” sign.
Santa Monica Pier.
We had rented a convertible so took a drive up the Pacific Coast Highway to Malibu and Santa Barbara beyond there.
And we finished up in Santa Monica at the beach for sunset.
Followed by a New Year’s Eve dinner at Cassia, which is an Asian fusion restaurant in Santa Monica that echos the cuisines of many of the places we visited on this trip.
Overall we did pretty well for just two full days in Los Angeles!
