Here is International Party Girl and all-around fantastic guest experience director at the Upper House, Kristina, AKA, our new BFF. She is impossibly glamorous and made our stay at the Upper House tremendous. She came running out of her office when she found out that we were checking out of the hotel — she wanted to say goodbye. We loved this hotel.
But now we are rushing back into the loving arms of Cathay Pacific. We arrived at the airport for checkin for our flight to Mumbai and found their counter to be gorgeous! Almost a work of art.
After security and customs, we turned a sharp left and were ushered into The Wing — Cathay’s First Class lounge. When you walk in the entrance, you are greeted by the Champage Bar. It’s a whole other world.
And then into super comfortable lounge chairs for the cocktail hour. Jeff is happy.
An incredible amount of black marble and black lacquer.
At the appointed hour, we left for our gate. It took a while to get there, including the train ride — this airport is gigantic! OMG, we’re really going to India.
Our aircraft is here — a 747-400, the Queen of the Skies.
