This is our last day in Hong Kong, so we wanted to squeeze in at least one more market before we left. We managed to make it to so the Spring Garden Market in the Wan Chai neighborhood.
We had not made it over to Wan Chai yet but once we arrived, we realized how great it is. It’s Hong Kong as you imagine in your mind! And the market was fantastic. Within minutes I had bought a Kipling pursette for $2 that will hold some electronics stuff (which is always difficult to control on a trip).
The market sells all sorts of stuff, but also abuts the Wan Chai market, which is a wet market. It’s called a wet market because it’s, well, wet. The floors are wet and covered with water and other unidentified juices that flow from the stalls.
