After waiting in line for quite some time, we finally stepped into our cabe car to the giant buddha.
The cable car had a glass bottom, so you could look down at all the place you might die should the car go hurtling to the ground. It looked like this when you looked down (those are Jeff’s shoes and legs on the right):
But when you looked up, you saw vistas like these, which made it all worthwhile:
And then once you arrived at the end of the line, after a short walk and a hike up what felt like 20,000 stairs, you got to see the buddha himself (hint, he’s the guy with his hand up):
