Breizh Cafe made our restaurant short list but not the cutoff until we couldn’t get Clown Bar to answer their phone in order to make reservations. So out with Clown Bar, in with Breizh Cafe.
We started with a traditional kir, although Breizh also makes a kir with a cider base.
Breizh Cafe caught our eye because they specialize in a traditional Brittany meal of crepes, both savory and sweet, with artisanal cider from Brittany.
Jeff and I had nearly the same savory crepe which was a fried egg, ham, mushrooms, tomatoes, anchovies, and onion confit cooked in cider. Mine didn’t have the anchovies or tomatoes.
