We managed to get to the general vicinity of our dinner reservations about and hour early so we took the opportunity to have a pre-dinner cocktail at a cafe that looked right out at the Place de la Bastille.
Of course in classic French service fashion the waiter was slow and indifferent. In fact Jeff and MaJo had to flag him down for our bill.
