Also near the fish market and Tokyo Tower is Zojoji Temple. It’s notable because it has an Unborn Children Garden which is heartbreaking as you walk by it. It has little Japanese statues wearing red knit hats to commemorate them. We didn’t linger there, but instead went directly to the temple itself. The outside pretty much looks like other temples, but there is a giant bell on the grounds that rings twice a day in the morning and evening.
Across from the giant bell is a lovely statue of a Buddha. Almost looks like the famous status from Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
Loved these doors into the temple. So peaceful.
