If you’ve followed the blog from last year you know that we ran a Hot Towel contest during our trip. The contest was to guess how many hot towels we received, in total, during the entire trip with the winner who guessed closest without going over (Price is Right Rules!) winning a prize.
Well…it proved to be so popular that we’re going to run another contest for this trip as well. Except this time, in honor of our Japanese hosts, we’re going to be counting bows. Yes, bows.
Some parameters: We’re only going to count the bows of people that we interact with personally. Meaning if we ask them a question or are checking in at a hotel or similar, and the person bows, then we’ll count it. We won’t count those people around us that may bow because we’re walking by (like rumored at the Park Hyatt Tokyo) or the group bow you receive as you push back in your airplane at Narita. Only personally interactive bows will count.
So put your guesses into the comments — the person who guesses closest to the actual number without going over will win this trip’s prize!
