We’re making our pit stop in the Middle East at Doha, Qatar, in their Premium Class Terminal. It’s a terminal dedicated to First and Business Class passengers (hey, that’s us!) and is filled with comfortable lounge chairs, top shelf bars, and several areas that serve hot meals that are appropriate for the time of day. We’re here for several hours while we await our connection to Istanbul.
This is our first time even transiting through the Middle East so everything about it is new to us. Like here’s the map they show onboard the aircraft to indicate where you are:
On our way to Istanbul we’ll be flying directly over Iraq! Anyway, here we are landing in Doha this morning at about 5:45a:
And here we are arriving at the Premium Terminal. We’re excited because we finally get to eat a meal after two days of pancakes and french fries in Mumbai.
