Visiting Some Famous English Gardens

We have a woodpecker in our neighborhood. Peck-peck-pecking away at the beautiful trees that are leafing out amidst another stunning Chicago spring. He is chiming in with all of the wonderful songbirds that are nesting around us.

But he’s got nothing on what we’re about to experience as we leave on our long planned tour of some of England’s most impressive gardens!

We start to the west of London in Bath and the Cotswolds, then carry on westward to Devon to a very special country house.

Then we follow the coast east to the famous New Forest, then Brighton, then Kent and will conclude with a visit to the annual Chelsea Garden Show in London. It’s there, if we’re lucky, that we’ll see some of Britain’s gardening glitterati and maybe even Monty Don himself!
