I know it sounds nuts but we adore this hotel. The staff is incredible. The dining room where we have our poached eggs Florentine in the morning is outstanding. The rooms are swanky and comfortable. The location is perfect. You honestly never want to leave.
Even as you enter the hotel from the rue de la Paix the world becomes different. We had been met earlier by our guest services manager Cecile and she had arranged for a lovely suite overlooking the interior courtyard of the hotel.
Our room was fantastic. Separate bedroom and living room and two full bathrooms.
As you can see there were some delectables waiting for us as we arrived. Our dear friend Lauren had contacted the hotel and arranged for a lovely greeting for us that included champagne, a selection of macarons, and a beautiful fruit arrangement that was as delicious as it was beautiful.
The beds at the Vendôme are among the most comfortable you’ll ever experience.
Then the two full baths with two dressing rooms. It was divine getting ready for our days in Paris. Honestly it was difficult to leave after breakfast!
We will always have fond memories of this hotel. As Cecile said to us this afternoon, this is our Parisian home.
