Today is our last day in Sydney, tonight we fly to Christchurch, New Zealand. Eeeek! There better not be hobbits at the arrival gate.
We had just three things we wanted to see before we left: up close with the Opera House, the Botanic Garden, and lastly Mrs. McQuarie’s Chair. All are walking distance from our perch at the Park Hyatt so we set off to see them this morning.
Unfortunately it turned out to be a hazy (but sunny) day in Sydney. Very humid and a warm 75 degrees.
They keep saying it’s unseasonably warm but the COLDEST normal high temp is 60 and there are living walls outside so how cold can it really get?
Our first stop was the Opera House where we walked around it trying to get a good shot. It was tough because the sun was in just the wrong place and the haze made it worse!
But we got a couple.
