We made a detour over to the Powerhouse Museum to see an exhibit of the famous dresses and even more famous hats that Isabella Blow wore when she was alive.
Isabella Blow is generally credited for having discovered fashion designer Alexander McQueen and for being quite brash about fashion.
You may remember this famous picture from Vanity Fair.
It wasn’t a large exhibit but did give you a good taste.
Can you imagine wearing a hat made of horns?
Some of the dresses and hats displayed. They looked outrageous 20 years ago but now not so out there.
