We got very lucky today and our Singapore flight was nearly empty in Suites.
On their A380s the seating configuration in Suites is 1x2x1 with the ability to lower the divided between the two Suites in the center of each row and turn them into double beds.
These are generally aimed at couples that are flying together but on today’s there was enough space for each of us to have our own double beds in addition to our window. So the lovely crew made up double beds for each of us in four of the empty Suites (two for each of us) located in the center of the cabin. This was in addition to the Suite we each we sitting in by the window – so we each had three Suites for this flight!
Jeff climbed into his first as I finished my latte from breakfast. I’ll get into mine in a few minutes, but gosh they look comfortable!
The experience with Singapore Airlines has been fantastic from start to finish. They are clearly laser-focused on customer experience and have done an excellent job of ensuring that all of their employees have internalized that. It’s just been great.
