Who knew the Eiffel Tower would be sold out for the entire week we’re here? I certainly didn’t and so didn’t make arrangements to pre-buy tickets. I just figured we’d find an open time slot and go. Wrong!
Paris is already packed. Lots of tourists in town as the summer kicks off. Sooo we’re going to have to resort to emergency measures to get up there on Thursday. We haven’t given up yet!
In the meantime we can still look at it from the ground, so we walked part of the way there and then took the RER the last part of the way.
Our path took us right through the Tuilleries where we saw this adorable carousel.
Then as we traversed the park we had an incredible view past the Obelisk at Place de la Concorde, down the Champs Elysees and all the way to the Arc de Triomphe.
The Musee d’Orsay is coming on Tuesday. The Seine looked gorgeous today!
