As promised in the previous post, this post will have some pictures from the inside of the SQ First Suites we had on our flight from JFK to Frankfurt.
After dinner, the flight attendants sprung into full on bed-making action and before you knew it your suite had been transformed into a very comfortable bed.
As you can see the bed is spacious and private with the doors closed. Singapore has done a marvelous job with this suites and I wouldn’t hesitate to fly them again.
Also the A380 is a magnificent aircraft. It is so quiet and spacious and solid that it seemed as though you really weren’t flying at all. Even when we hit some turbulence over the Atlantic due to the jetstream the aircraft handled it beautifully.
I’ve been wanting to fly this aircraft for a very long time – they’ve been in commercial service for 10 years (!) – and am really glad we got to do so. The experience was delightful!
