We’ve finally arrived in NY at our home for the night, the Andaz 5th Avenue. The room is terrifically large – about 800sf – but not very photogenic due to the odd layout of Living Room > Gigantic Bathroom > Bedroom. Can’t quite get a picture of even two of the rooms together. Overall it’s quite comfortable, just difficult to snap pictures in. But we sure have a great view!
NY Library is in front with just a hint of the Empire State Building in the back.
Due to our late arrival we missed having dinner with Jeff’s college friend Lisa (not to be confused with the Lisa that is joining us in Paris in a few days). But fortunately she was able to stop in for a cocktail for an hour or so along with a little bathtime with Jeffrey!
