We went to Harajuku today in the hopes of seeing the regular crowd of crazy teenage girls, known as Harajuku Girls, dressed in lolita garb and playing with their fellow costumers. Trouble was that this is the week leading up to Halloween, so there weren’t a lot of kids dressed as they usually would be as they seemed to all be in Halloween costumes. Boring! I did manage to catch one of the girls, however.
We also found all the people! They’re walking the streets in Harajuku!
Here’s a picture of the famous Takeshita Street, where most of the Harajuku Girls buy their outfits to show off.
The heat today made this whole experience very sticky.
