We haven’t even left town yet and there’s already controversy about the contest. I guess I left some rules a little ambiguous.
A reader from Indiana asked us to “please do address multiple bows in one interaction… What if you get the rapid fire multi-bow? One bow, or each counted discretely?”. Excellent question, especially since we’ve already gotten our first bow (Hint! Hint!).
Another reader asked “how many days is your trip? I must have data to compute bows!”.
Good point. So we’re going to count people who bow (person-bows? Where’s an IE when you need one?). One person bowing twice is one bow. Two people bowing twice each is two bows. A series of “rapid-fire multi-bow” by five people will be five bows.
Alright, as for the length of the trip – 11 days in Japan, we return on the evening of November 3rd, arriving Chicago mid-afternoon on the 3rd (aah the magic of the international date line).
Keep those questions coming!
