Just a little over a week to go before we climb aboard our ANA 777 bound for Tokyo! We managed to snag two First Class seats and couldn’t be more excited. Here is what our seats will look like:
ANA is widely recognized as having one of the 10 best First Class cabins in the world, and their service to/from Tokyo is legendary. They offer both a Western meal and a Japanese Kaiseki meal, which is renowned for its presentation and quality. I’m a little afraid of committing to the Kaiseki meal on an airplane, but everyone says it’s amazing. ANA calls it the “Inspiration of Japan” — not too many good pictures out there of what it looks like but this will give you an idea of one of the courses.
And of course, ANA serves our old friend Krug (Hi Mia!)
We’ve vowed to partake of that just a little bit more than we did on Cathay last year. Make sure you follow us here as we begin our trip next Wednesday, October 22nd!
