Our internet access was intermittent and slow when we had it. Uploading a post could take an hour. So we didn’t upload any videos while we were on our trip. Instead we picked through them and are presenting our favorites here. We hope you enjoy them.

Zambezi River Boat

After our looooong trip to Livingstone we were greeted by our camp and taken upriver via speedboat to the camp’s beach. We were floored! It was not something we expected and it was thrilling.

Victoria Falls

There are five videos here from Victoria Falls. There could have been five hundred and they wouldn’t really relate the beauty and power of the Falls. This is one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World. Turn up your volume and enjoy!

Flight to Savuti

This is a quick 26 second time lapse video of our flight to the bush. Hesitant at first, but we really wound up enjoying these flights.

Lions

Three videos of the Pride of lions we saw enjoying the afterglow of their giraffe feast.

Sneaky Hippos

An 11 second video of hippo ears flicking in the sun. Cute.

Elephants

One thing that struck us every time we saw elephants was just how freaking quiet they are. It was unnerving. Turn up the volume, you’ll see. Three separate videos, but all elephants.

Mokoro at Sunset

On our last night in the bush we joined a mokoro tour of the Okavango. Mokoros are flat-bottomed boat that are used in the shallow waters of the Okavango. Jeff took a 2 minute video of our return to shore. It’s lovely.
