So we’re on the second leg of SQ25, this one from Frankfurt to Singapore. It’s the same aircraft continuing on, we just got off the aircraft in Frankfurt, took a shower at the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge and then reboarded back into our same seats (2A & 3A).
We departed Frankfurt just after noon and will arrive Singapore at 6:00 tomorrow morning. We had a lovely lunch (caviar and Honey Roast Duckling), followed by a fierce nap. I think we manage to sleep from Baku to Calcutta, which is about 3 1/2-4 hours.
On board is this moving map that I love to follow. It shows us coming into Singapore over southeast Asia – in fact we criss-crossed the route we flew in December from Abu Dhabi to Bangkok and flew right by Bangkok.
We have a four hour connection in Singapore – we’ll spend our time in the uber-exclusive Singapore Airlines Private Room. You have to be escorted to get in. We do love to be escorted into exclusive locations. Hah.
