We’re here!
Our flight on LAN was perfectly lovely, although the Business Class seat was very strange. It was almost like a cubicle without any clear place to put your arms and absolutely no storage for stuff you want to keep at your seat. But the crew was very nice, and ultimately was able to get about 3-4 hours of sleep. Jeff wasn’t quite as lucky, but we were here in no time flat.
This pic isn’t that great because they had already turned on the cabin lights, but you can see the sun rising over the mighty Andes as we landed in Santiago.
It is autumn here! The leaves are falling, the sky is gray, temperature is cool. We’ve checked into our hotel, Su Merced, where we have a terrace overlooking this lovely park.
